So FINAL post of the day!!! I just did so much this week I can't believe it! Yesterday my study abroad group and I traveled to Oxford and Bleinham Palace. The Palace was magnificent, my favorite part was learning that Conseula Vanderbilt lived there after she married the Duke! She lived in one of my favorite Newport Mansions! We had a personal tour of the palace and then were sent off to explore the expansive gardens on our own. My friend Eric and I found a waterfall with an adorable little cottage next to it! After that we had lunch in the town next to the palace. Then off to my new favorite town...OXFORD! I am telling you people I AM IN LOVE! I never thought I could love a town more than Little Compton but it may have just happened. We had a tour of Oxford University and part of the town. Other than the fact that it was mind numbingly cold, it was amazing! I seem to use that word a lot.... Well anyway Oxford is almost completely stone buildings with every single one of them looking like they were straight out of harry potter, and some of them were. During our free time, we explored a 7 story bookstore and found these awesome second hand books. We also got some tea to try to warm up. But anyway not the point...I am starting my application now because I am going to Oxford for graduate school! IT WILL HAPPEN! I AM TELLING YOU! Gah I miss it already. Well ta ta for now.

Happy Birthday to....ME!
Yes I am writing another post...on the same day...about another event. But there is just so little time and so much stuff that has happened! Anyway I am now 21! I can now legally drink in all countries yahoooo! but that isn't the best part.....the best part was that my parents bought me tickets to the BRIT awards!!!!! For those of you going 'huh whats that?', well let me tell you, they are the grammys of England. Thats right the grammys. And I WAS THERE! In the luck of the draw, literally i drew names out of a hat, my flatmate Jelli got the extra ticket that my parents bought for me. Which worked out very well because she is OBSESSED with One Directions, who just happened to be performing. Our friend Jackie bought her own ticket and came with us! We got all dressed up and headed to find our future celebrity husbands. The night was AMAZING, did I mention it was amazing, because it was amazing.... like amazing amazing. The performers included: Muse, Mumford and Sons, One Direction, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Emile Sande, Robbie Williams, and Ben Howard. May I just say that Robbie Williams has stolen my heart. Yes he is a little old for me but is performance was just CRAZY! I mean the man wears a blue suit well, and I mean a royal blue, not navy. Anywho, the night was just fabulous. I got a drink, I had some cake, I saw hot men. What else could I ask for on my 21st birthday? Well unless all my friends and family from home flew out here, I couldn't think of one thing that would have made the night better....unless maybe I met One Direction, or JT, or Robbie Williams. :)
But I just want to say a big-ol- thank you to my mom and dad:) Even though we were in separate countries they still managed to make my birthday special. I wouldn't be doing any of this stuff without you guys! I LOVE YOU!

Paris!
So last weekend I spent a glorious 3 days in PARIS! Emily and I flew out early, early, did I mention early, friday morning and arrive in Paris at around 10:30. Of course we didn't actually leave the airport till about 12:00, then navigating a new subway system took a bit longer than expected. But by 3:00pm we were out and about! We started off at Rue Mouffedarte, which I read had a great open air market and had tons of little cafes and creperies! Although we didn't find the market we found a patisserie and that was all that mattered. Emily got the biggest slice of Coconut Flan I have ever seen and I got a delicious chocolate tart! Then we headed off to the Pantheon and the Luxembourg Gardens. Oh I forgot to mention...the weather was AMAZING! 50 degrees and sunny all day!!! The entire time we were there!! Anyway back to the adventures! So then we went to Notre Dame. We were able to get inside during Mass and there was a boys choir singing and incense burning, it was magical. After that we went to the Louvre and saw my girl Mona and the Venus De Milo! We spent two and half hours in there! I can't believe it. To cap off the night we went to see the eiffel tower all lit up. The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel then went off to see the eiffel tower during the day, glorious. We then decided to rent bikes and bike past LEs Invalides (where Napoleon is buried) towards the Champ E'lysee or however it is spelt. We rode up that towards the Arc de Triumph, it was triumphant! We dropped the bikes off and headed over to Printemps, the department store of all department stores, and had lunch. Then we went to Sacre Couer and Montemarte. To finish the night we met some other girls in our program for dinner at this crazy little fondue place! They give you wine in baby bottles!!! Before heading back to London the next morning we stopped for Crepes, yum!
